Since 1994, Czech refugees abroad -- namely in USA
and Canada -- have been asking for EQUALITY in
recignition of native Czech citizenship,
in access to restitutional/reparational processes,
and in equal exercise in Czech voting rights.
  They have written, mailed, Faxed, sent, e-mailed
(only from LA Office, there were others all over
the United States and in Canada) 
36.000 (thirty six thousand!) petitions, letters,
appeals, complaints, filings and court petitions--- all DENIED!

  July 11, 2003.
After, a year ago, Strassburg Court for Human
Rights DENIED! two IAC-members lodged complaints,
IT NOW - FOR THE FIRST TIME! - awarded victory
to Ing. JIRI HARTMAN, American, and since
1999 (????????) AGAIN! Czech! dual citizen.

He died a year ago. His brother Jan completed the
procedure in his absence......

THIS IS A VICTORY!

Of course, there are thousands other cases,
which may never see justice....

However, one of thousands and thousands
finally won  long-overdue  J U S T I C E.

We have NO COMMENT.
