MEJSTRIK ENRAGED (CZECH) SENATORS

The youngest Czech Senator ( one of the student
leaders of Czech Velvet Revolution in November
1989, bote by JF) enraged his colleagues when
he declared that he is ashamed of all the
post-November 89 (Czech) governments, Parliamentary Deputies an Senators who never
found courage to implement - for Czech citizens
abroad - DUAL CITIZENSHIP, RESOLUTION OF THEIR
RESTITUTIONS AND VOTING RIGHTS BY ABSENTEE 
BALLOT.
 "I am ahamed, and at from far away, at least,
I want to assure you, that I will do everything
in my power to resolve the DUAL CITIZENSHIP,
RESTITUTIONS AND VOTING RIGHTS issue as soon
as possible to yours, as well as ours, 
benefit," he wrote in response to
the latest petition in this matter mailed
to Czech Premier PhDr. Vladimir Spidla in June.

Czech Senators, reports PRAVO, are enranged and
demand an apology from Mejstrik.

OUR COMMENT:
   As long as Czech Senate exists, it - and only
Senate, also Parliament, Ministers, Presidents
et cetera - was informed about the
CITIZENSHIP-RESTITUTIONS-VOTING RIGHTS issue.
   36.000 letters, petitions, complaints,
filings - all DENIED, DENIED, DENIED.
   Hundreds of Czech organizations abroad
sent their petitions, to no avail.
   ***
    Finally, the first Czech refugee to USA,
plagued during last 13 years by this problem,
was handled HIS BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS acquired
by being born in pre-Nazi and pre-Communist
CZECHOSLOVAKIA!, his victory.
    Member of IAC, Ing. JIRI HERMAN (American
Citizen, Seattle, Washington, USA)
    won his court suit in Strassbourg.

HE WON MORE THAN A YEAR AFTER HIS OWN DEATH!

There are thousands and thousands like him,
still waiting. Will the Czech government bury
even these compatriots with the artificially
imposed status of "FOREIGNERS" in their own,
unforgettable, NATIVE COUNTRY, today's
              CZECH REPUBLIC?
