The 2001 SVU Presidential Citations The 2001 SVU Presidential Citations were awarded to selected organizations and selected individuals by SVU President Mila Rechcigl on the occasion of SVU Conference at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, NE, August 3, 2001. The Presidential citations were awarded "In Recognition of Contributions toward Preserving Czech and Slovak Heritage in America and Advancing the Legacy of the American Immigrants with Czech and Slovak Roots."
