February 15 - Ottawa Chapter - H. E. Slovak Ambassador to Canada MUDr. Miroslav Mikolásik discussed the "Developments in Slovakia since the last Parliementary Elections". The Ambassador is a native of Dolny Kubin near Orava, and studied in France and at Charles University in Prague. After practicing medicine for a number of years he became a member of foreign committe of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. He was appointed Ambassador in April 1999.
