The lecturer is known for his painstaking research of some thirty years on immigration from the territory of former Czechoslovakia and history and lives of prominent Americans of Czech/Slovak ancestry. He published numerous publications on the subject and is the author of a recently issued book Postavy nasi Ameriky (Personalities of Our America) (Prague: Prazska edice, 2000).

Please come early since a large audience is expected and there may not be enough seats.
